For this exhibition I wish to see parents and community members interested and involved in this exhibition. I would also like to see that they are learning from us and our experiences so far. This would be very important to see because it would notify me that we successfully did this exhibition. This is what I would like to see. I think it would be fun to go around and see most of each category, agent, and stereotype being showed at this exhibition.
I would like to hear that this is a fun, interesting, exciting, involving exhibition. I would like to hear from a sociology professor that this is accurate, fun, involving, and our exhibition taught others about socialization. This also shows that this was successful exhibition and we all worked hard and accomplished this task. To make sure we are we are presenting accurate information to our audience we should/must look to each other's socialization. We also should see other parents and teachers socialization, research topics, go over the cycle, the 7 agents, and socialization categories. Blog Post by Payton Vaughn In the past few weeks in Humanities we have been creating posters/info-graphics. We have also been making, refining, and working hard on our papers and masks. The masks were that hardest part for me, especially the painting process.
The problem that this exhibition is addressing is showing family, and community members the cycle of socialization, the 7 agents, and how we have been socialized. I am excited about construction/design. Why I am excited about these things is because I love to build objects and decorating them. I would personally like to work on the construction crew, because I love to build things, if we need to do so. If not I would also like to be on the design crew. My reflection: To start I liked working in groups, designing, building, creating, publishing our work. The people in my groups helped me be more on tasks because I like to space off, a lot. So that reminded me to be more on task. My group-mates also worked very hard and we split the work evenly. Everyone was straight up honest and projected their ideas quite well, meaning that we got our idea out and worked on it instantly. |
